Happy Black Friday, everyone! Did everyone get their shopping done today?! I already have a huge stock pile of paper so I got some warm clothes since it became winter in the last week or so over here. California weather is so weird sometimes! I was able to avoid the crowd madness by staring at google maps until the traffic eased up around dinner time. Then I drove there and parked within 10 minutes! I love technology.

My latest design is a variation of my match box design - this time it has these diamond shaped cutouts. I like to make a few variations of each box I make. I think this one would be perfect for Laila's music teacher. I'm not sure which gift card to get him yet but that's what I am going to put in it. It's so fast to make, my Cricut has been a huge time saver for me. Every time I need a card or a box, I can make it right away. It's definitely faster than running to the store. I've used my Cricut to also make custom shirt designs and other crafts but I find that I use it mostly for cards, boxes, and gift card holders because that's what I usually need the most. What do you find yourseld using your Cricut most for? Click on the link above or below to get cutting and use this design right away!

Tips:

- Don't forget to glue the backing to the diamonds before gluing the box together.

- If you're using textured or printed cardstock, place it face down on the mat. That way, the scoring will be done on the inside of your box.
